I went to this restaurant the other day and had this lovely simply made banoffee pie. All they did was crush some digestive biscuits into the bottom of a fancy sundae dish, add sliced bannana with toffee drizzled over them then add to the top of that a big dollop of clotted cream with shavings of toffee scattered over it.It was siple bot delicious but have no idea how to make the toffee it was very smooth and runny.

You could use Dulce de Leche from Merchant's Gourmet (available from Tesco's or Sainsbury's.

Or make your own by boiling condensed milk in the tin. Cover tin with a saucepan of cover and boil for about 3 hours.
