I made sauce Sunday and want to use it next Sun. Should I freeze it - or ok in fridge in an airtight container?

I would freeze it. Even in an airtight container after 3 days bacteria will start to grow.

I only keep things like that 48 hours in the fridge.

freeze it - I often use a baking/bun tray to freeze it in small portions, so I can choose how much to defrost as and when.
