Loser in my 30's just got braces fitted and I'm feeling down about it. They don't hurt as much as they did when I was a preteen and I know I'll get used to them but they're uncomfortable and annoying. Also they're ceramic rather than metal so I'm paranoid about staining (no more red wine unless I can brush immediately after

Help me get through the first week or two with some nice food ideas (preferably that I can alter slightly for the rest of the family - eg I had soup tonight which was a pasta sauce for DC).
I'm working on a morning smoothie - I rarely have breakfast but need a nice way to start my day that incorporates coffee! And soups I just normally bung some veg together, so those recommendations welcome, but Im going to get pretty sick of drinking all my meals soon enough.
I eat mostly vegan but seeing as meat is a big no go because of the potential chewiness that's not too much of an ask.
