What do I do now ... cake related

I have made two cakes ready to make a 40th birthday on Friday. Now do I freeze it an decorate on Friday or leave in airtight box until Friday? Same goes for the cupcakes that I have made with them.

Oh I'd stick them in airtight boxes and leave til Friday, it's not so long! How are you planning on decorating them? [nosey]

Erm was going to dirty ice the big cake then cover in icing. I have got little sugar flowers (ones I bought) to decorate.
Will they stick by wetting the fondant.
I have never done this before.
The cupcakes I am going to pipe icing onto them.

I have watched you tube to see how to do it!

Dirty ice??

Just use a little bit of buttercream to put the flowers on.
