Food processor recommendations

Hello all, I have been looking to buy a food processor. Having never owned one before I have no idea what I should look for in a processor, what the best make is and what sort of price I should be looking at.

I have seen some from as little as £40 up to the £400 mark and I am somewhat in awe of it all really and wondered whether any of you kind folk could point me in the right direction!

Thank you

Well, I've just bought at the top end of the market and gone for the kitchenaid 4l, but if that hadn't existed I would have gone for the magimix 5200.

I'm not sure I would have gone for the mid range kitchenaid though as I think it would still suffer from some of the problems my old kitchenaid had.

So, it all depends on how much cooking and entertaining you do to justify going up to the high end. If you're not sure I would go for a mid level magimix.
