what do u cook em in and how do they come out?

(we are still having frozen chips but want to stamp them all out for home cooked instead)

i like smoked paprika, did you get that or the normal stuff?

rosemary and olive oil delicious with potatoes, very River Cafe.

lol - DH is into river cottage at the mo that's why (partly and cos i'm a SAHM now) I'm wanting to do more home cooked meals. what's goulash?

the smoked one - what's the difference?

tastes kinda barbequed, i reckon. it's lovely. i suppose it's just red peppers which have been smoked and dried and ground, if you can imagine what that would tase like.
and goulash is a hungarian casserole. there are hundreds of different recipes but i make one like my mum's 70s version. cubed beef, onions, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, paprika by the bucketload, tinned toms in the oven with a generous amount of beer. finish off with some cream and serve with rice or baked pots or somesuch. oooh, i am so glad that the weather is cooling down a little, i hate summer food, it's so bitty-piecey.

Ooh yes smoked paprika yummmy as long as its the sweet one the hot one blows your head off! Going to have to have it tonight now!

Play around with seasonings, you'll have a different flavour each time! Smoked paprika and herbs is a big fave with us!
