What side dishes would you do?

Got a basic chicken for dinner tonight. Think oh cheated and bought a garlic and herb one. Normally, we have mash, veg and gravy. I'm feeling adventurous. What would you do to compliment my chicken?

We're having chicken for lunch, accompanied by a couple of salad, (Greek and bulgar wheat) coldslaw & crusty bread.

It's a bit lighter in this heat?

We're having ours with garlic bread, salad and coleslaw today

How about some lemony couscous and guacamole/smashed avocados?

A lovely tomato salad. Some new potatoes or some homemade bread (I use a bread mix - very easy).
