We went the other week and I had the chicken chilli men, which was lovely, and not too hot chilli-wise. DH had something which I think was chicken tama rice, and that wasn't nice - very bland, and the chicken tasted like it had been marinated in tea (!)

mmmmm - i am addicted to their soya beans (sometimes am naughty and have with salt).

Coolmama · 15/09/2006 20:23

grilled dumplings - yum !

aitch71 · 15/09/2006 20:31

soya beans for definite, and i was there with some children recently and they loved the katsu curry. it's really just a piece of breaded chicken with a dish of mild curry sauce and some rice, but it is delicious. and the children get these super-cute chopsticks. i like everything on the menu pretty much but the udon noodles slightly give me the creeps as they are so thick and pale...
have a great time. and try one of the ludicrously expensive juices as well, spoil yourself...

oh the edamame (soya beans) and gyoza (stuffed dumplings) are the business.

i love the udon noodles too though they are a bit wormy-looking

jennster · 16/09/2006 08:23

I LOVE the soya beans too. Usually have a bowl of coconutty noodles with prawns and chilli. No idea what it is called but is LOVELY. Don't where a white top though!

Bramshott · 18/09/2006 11:54

Glad you had a lovely meal YG. I am sitting here thinking about the chicken chilli men - I could eat a plate of it right now!

Oh my god! It was scrummy and I want to go again already! I had the soya beans, the veggie rice with miso soup and pickles and the pavlova with chilli sauce which was hot hot but fab. Can't believe I've missed out on all this for so long!
