Dh was given one at work, and I'm a bit at a loss over what to cook with it. Any ideas?

We stir fry it with onions and garlic and curry for a dry dish, or add tomatoes and chilli after stir frying and simmer til soft. You can also stuff them with mince, onion and any chopped veg, chilli tom. puree, to bake it takes about 50 minutes on 200°

If stuffing, do you need to cook the mince first?

bump - does anyone cook this as a side-dish? Could do with eating ours today!
The stuffed with mince recipe is nice, and I think I cooked the mince first when I last did it. Not sure, though.

This looks quite nice and you could also put mince in it.

OK this is my only marrow recipie:

chop marrow into chunks (about 2inches). Parboil for about 3 mins till the skin goes tender. Put in a roasting tin and drizzle avec oil. Beat 3 eggs, salt, pepper and loads of cheese together in a jug and pour over. Cook for about 30 mins in medium oven.

Take out of oven. Eat eggy cheesey bit and put the marrow straight in the bin, its disgusting.

sorry - marrow, ugh ugh ugh (the recipie works tho, one of DH's favourites, dagnammit)
