Am I correct in thinking these are made from pork skin? And if so does anyone make their own?
I have 2 pork skins in my freezer, removed from joints destined for slow cooked pulled pork and am looking for inspiration in what to do with them.

Yes they are.

Rub the skin dry, score it and rub in oil and salt, then cook on a rack over a tray to catch the fat that drips. Make sure the oven is nice and hit to get a good crispy crackling.

Yum. Pig fat. I love it.

I suppose you could cut strips and drop into a deep fat fryer instead.

Prefer the oven idea as I don't own a deep fat fryer as I don't want to clean one!

Try this one!

I cut the into strips, salt and bake in a hot oven - they bake in their own fat. Keep an eye on it though because some need to be rescued before others!
