I need coffee biscuits in my life. Does anyone make them ? I used to get carte noir ones but can't find them anymore. I have recipes but sometimes you can't be arsed or like now the oven is out of action.

Are gypsy creams coffee flavoured? My brother is a big fan and gets them from larger supermarkets. I think they're coffee flavoured but I'll check with him (we are on hols together at the mo!)

Sainsburys sell carte noir biscuits. And now I want some. I like to lick, the coffee icing off and then eat the biscuit. Blush

Happy I think Gypsy creams are chocolate and coconut flavour.

Sorry, I asked my bro about romany creams and he says they're chocolate flavour. Sorry to have misled you.

However my mum says there are Caf Noir biscuits in Tesco which are coffee-flavoured. She should know, a huge Tesco has opened recently down her street! (My dad refers to it as the cathedral).

Darnit - I meant Cafe Noir biscuits - thanks Happy - Blush. My local Tesco doesn't sell them - which is probably just as well, as I can eat a whole packet, if I put my mind to it!

Sainsburys also sell coffee choux buns - pastry, whipped cream and coffee icing - wonderful. Again - it is just as well I don't go there too often otherwise I would be even more of an obesity statistic than I am now!
