Freezing spinach?

I have a glut of spinach. Does it freeze well? What is the best way to freeze it? Any tips gratefully accepted.

It freezes brilliantly. What I do is wash and wilt it with a little butter/oil, allow to cool, squeeze as much liquid out as possible, and, using my hands shape into balls. Put these on a a tray in the freezer, then when they've frozen, put them in freezer bags.
