Best ever Rice Crispie cake recipe?

I turn 40 tomorrow and, unbelievably, don't yet have a rice crispie cake recipe in my repertoire. In my defence, my toddler is only 19 months old so I haven't had to do the school cake stall thing yet. Anyway, I want to make some with her that she can give to Grandma for her birthday, so can you please share your best recipes? Should they be pure chocolate, but liable to remove a tooth, or should they have some butter and golden syrup in the mix...?

Found a good one recently by Lucy Young:

small traybake tin (12"x9") lined with clingfilm
4oz ea of marg/butter, marshmallows, soft toffees
8oz cocopops

heat gooey stuff in pan til melted, stir in coco pops, bung in tin and flatten, then put in fridge

Wait 1hr and eat!

Thanks UmBongo. Went with something similar in the end. Large mars bar, 40g butter, 40g dark choc, 3 tbsp golden syrup - melt them together then stir into 75g of rice crispier and 25g mini marshmallows. Yum.

Hmm, might have to try that one too!

Surely the best one is just melted chocolate and Rice Krispies?

Yes, but using just decent chocolate is too expensive for the school cake stall.

The best ones I've done are
8 mars bars
240g butter
rice crispies
dark chocolate for drizzling over the top

Always a hit with everyone when I've made them!
