vegetable soup

7 weeks pregnant and craving homemade vegetable soup... I know the shop bought stuff will just give me indegestion. I've had a look through some of the threads but cant seem to find anything.... can anyone help?? Many Thanks

fry off some onion and add garlic (if you like it).
chop whatever veg you fancy into bite size pieces and add to the pan. cover with veg stock and cook until it's all nice and soft.
you can add red lentils to thicken it

Veg stock as in stock cube tyoe things or is there something else that would work better... I'm not normally this useless I promise!!

i just use a veggie stock cube. or the marigold bouillion powder is nice

I use bouliion as I think it tastes nicer than oxo but my veggie soup usually contains potato, leek and watercress as the basics then whater else is around!

Strangely enough when I was about your stage of pg this time I was craving homemade chicken and veg soup... maybe there's something in it for the LO's?
