Just made cakes with DS and realised no icing sugar in cupboard?

Can I make chocolate buttercream with nesquik powder?

I'm not sure about that? I'm trying to think logically about it and I'm thinking it could work. The icing sugar sweetens the butter and makes it less solid too I think so in theory nesquick could do the same! Smile

Could you make a ganache if you have choc, cream and butter?

Do you have castor sugar and a food processor? If you do you can turn castor sugar into icing sugar! Takes a wee minute to get it fine enough but it does work Wink

No cream. I have butter, sugar, brown sugar, Splenda, nesquik and hot choc powder

This is gorgeous and well worth the faff. Caster sugar is fine to use it doesn't need to be granulated.

And you have the ingredients Smile

Have you got any chocolate? When I'm out of icing sugar I just melt down any chocolate I can find and drizzle over the top.

Ooh honey that looks good
