Bloody useless dh!!!

I put a beef brisket in the slow cooker this morning and dh has just rung to say after finishing work late today their boss is taking them all out for a curry. My question is can I reheat a brisket tomorrow? It's cooked in red wine and onions, and my crock pot can go in the oven, so can I just reheat it tomorrow evening in the oven or will it be dry and hideous?

Oh and in case you're wondering why dh's uselessness or otherwise means anything - it's just that he's always throwing my carefully organised plan in to disarray.

I am a man, but not entirely heartless and I do understand your frustration, but all is not lost. It might be better to reheat as sliced meat so as not to over cook the outside before the heat gets through to the middle.
Alternatively, I am sure your husband would appreciate nothing nicer on a warm summer evening than some slices of cold meat, a nice salad, a glass of wine and the company of his loving wife sitting on the patio watching the sun go down. Eh?
