So, I have just cleaned out my larder, and among all the usual crap things in there, I have found
An unopened tin of golden syrup
Loads of apple sauce Confused
A box of marzipan
A container of mixed peel
A jar of stem ginger in syrup
750g of Nutella Shock
A canister of pinhead oats

I have not the faintest idea what to do with any of these things. Why do I even have them? Most of it was obviously bought at Christmas, or during Great British Bake Off or something, when I had delusions of whipping up delicious things for pudding.

Please inspire me, either with yummy recipes or by telling me what random things you've discovered while turning out your kitchens Grin.

Stem ginger in syrup - chop up and mix with chopped rhubarb pieces, pour over a little of the syrup, top with a regular crumble mix and bake - rhubarb & ginger crumble. Delicious.
