My houmous tastes rather bland.

It's the first time I've made it and I used a recipe on line from BBC Food

I did make one mistake and that was to out the paprika in the food blender instead of sprinkle it on top. It doesn't taste unpleasant,just rather nothingy.

Any tips please for my second attempt.

I'd left the he cayenne pepper on the side as no room in the spice area, DS just added it to his soup and obviously got a tad carried away!
One whole pint of milk drunk and he's still got steam coming out of his ears. Me thinks he was a tad heavy handed.
