How can I keep this cake?

Today I won a cake with cream and raspberries. Tuesday is DD's birthday. Is there any way that I can keep it until Tuesday? Freezer? Fridge? Would it work at all? Would soo0 save me making a cake! Blush

Sorry no chance the cream would only last 2 days let alone the sponge going stale Hmm

I don't think you can freeze cream.

Have an early birthday tea!

You can't freeze cream the fat seperates, the raspberries would become a sodden mess and the sponge (if that's what it is) would become unbearably dry even in the freezer. In fact I don't think you could design a cake less able to freeze. Grin

Enjoy it today.

You can freeze whipped cream. I regularly buy a cream filled (fatless) sponge cake and freeze it until we 'need' it. It is delicious. Your raspberries will be a bit runny though.

Oh well ... We'll have to eat it and make another. Smile
