Idiot needs to freeze blackberries

Went picking yesterday and have lots. Do I need to do anything to them or just pop in a freezer bag. How long can I keep them?

put them on a tray and freeze them 'flat' then transfer into a bag.

Depends what you want to do with them later. Personally I'd seperate them into portion sizes and just shove them in a bag because I'd never need them to be like individual berries IYSWIM.

Are they ok when you defrost them tough? Not too squishy?
