Would it really be so awful if 3-year-old ds only ate the following for the foreseeable future:
Bread
Marmite
Cheese
A bit of nice ham
Shreddies
Fruit
Yoghurt
The odd chip
The odd plate of pasta with tomato sauce
The odd tin of baked beans?
That's protein, carbs, fat and calcium, plus fruit (which he is good at eating, I have to say) isn't it? It's not so bad, is it?
I am so fed up with tipping meal after meal after sodding meal in the bin. Ir's bloody soul-destroying. I've just cooked chicken stirfry with noodles. He asked for noodles. He took three bites and said 'I don't like this' and that was it. Gah.
I love food and I love cooking but I just can't be arsed anymore, frankly. Thinking up things he might like. Coming home after an eight-hour shift when my feet have barely touched the ground once and lovingly hand-preparing a homecooked meal that ten minutes later ends up in the bin.
Then doing it all over again the next day. And the next. And the next.
I am so fed up.
