I have a Lakeland cake tin which makes a little engine and some carriages. It came with a recipe but I have lost it now.

Can anyone help with that please? I guess it needs to be quite firm and not rise-y. It's quite a detailed tin. I'm not much of a cook (No?!)

The recipe that came with it is:

225g caster sugar
225g butter
4 eggs
225g self raising flour.

170C/Gas7 25-30min

However I would get 4 large eggs and weigh them (in shells). Then use that weight for each of the ingredients.
Tip: use eggs that are at room temperature.
