...in a kiwi fruit sorbet? Not sure if it would work the same, having never made sorbet before.

Sod you then, I'll just do half and half. If it doesn't work I'll tell the kids to blame MN...

Should work fine - sounds delicious!

LOL - I'm no great expert on sorbet but to make you feel more loved...

I think it will clash with the kiwi fruit - I would either do a small test portion first or use water.

I thought it might make it taste more tropical. Anyway, I've done half juice half water now, so we shall see...

Hmmm, I have combined kiwi and pineapple in smoothies before and found the tastes very compatible.

So... how was it?

TooTicky · 08/09/2006 09:22

Due to a change of plan, we're eating it this evening, not yesterday, so I'll let you know....

Haven't you even sampled it yet?

TooTicky · 09/09/2006 12:59

Yes and it was good but a little acidic. I personally think there was too much lemon juice and sugar in the original recipe so I will have to experiment. I don't think the pineapple juice caused any problems but I don't think it really added anything either.
