toad in the hole

do I put sausages in a dish with batter? do i cook the sausages first?
how long will it take?

Brown the sausages first.
Put them in a dish and pour the batter over them and cook.Can't remember how long for!
We have toads in cheesy holes,add grated cheese to the batter before pouring over the sausages!

I pu tsausage sin first to brown a bit, say 5-10 mins.
Then make sure ot is really hot, pour in the batter and shut oven door asap.

Then it takes about 20-30 mins, depending on size, kind of sausages etc.

thanks - I think my boys might like this - cheesy holes should go down well I think - will give it a try
