So I have 2 frozen pork slice things for dds dinner.
And I forgot to take them out of the freezer last night.
They haven't defrosted v much in the fridge, so is it okay to take them out and do it at room temperautre?

Forgive my ignorance oh wise ones!

Pork's not as iffy as it used to be - I always defrost at room temp and then refrigerate when it's thawed out.

I always defrost at room temperature - takes far too long in the fridge and I'm lucky if I remember to take it out the freezer the night before, let alone two days or so before!

I also occasionally defrost meat in the microwave - don't like doing this as it starts to cook round the edges, but if you've forgotten to take it out the freezer before you go to work in the morning and don't have anything else for dinner then you ain't got much choice!

I haven't poisoned myself or anyone else yet!

Just make sure you cook it well done! That should kill any bugs!

Absolutely fine as long as you are cooking them this evening
