Freezing a savoury pie?

I was going to make a ham, leek and mushroom pie tomorrow, but forgot we are going away to PILs for a few days. The ham needs to used by tomorrow so i do need to do it.

If I make it tonight, can I freeze it? And before or after baking? It's got butter, creme fraiche, an egg and ready rolled pastry. The ham is fresh, ie hasn't been previously frozen.

Or I could make it and take it with us, but then it'll have to survive a 4 hour car journey and i haven't got a cool bag or one of those pie carriers. Help!
