Every year I bake a birthday cake for my husband and for his 30th in a few weeks he's asked for something involving jack Daniels. Have found this recipe www.thelittleloaf.com/2012/09/10/chocolate-whiskey-layer-cake/ which calls for 188ml of ground nut oil. I don't have any and don't really want to buy some just for this so any suggestions?

Ground nut oil is peanut oil and has a high burning point and little flavour. I would have thought that something like sunflower oil would probably work just as well.
