and they just keep coming! Only chutney recipes I have are for green toms - any ideas what to do with the red ones?? Of course I've tried soup, pasta sauce etc... thought chutney would be good idea for Christmas??

hello bundle!

just a rough idea of how to do it would be good - I'm not great at following recipes anyway - tend to chuck stuff in as i go along.

roughly (the way i work too ) it was shedloads of veg - i had 2kg of green tomatoes (from garden), plus a similar amount of courgettes (bought), sweat some onions and shove in chopped veg, add vinegar, sugar and spices. I did two vats, kept testng it and topping up where it needed with vinegar, sugar, whatever. very simple really.
