Strawberries

I had hoped to make strawberry jam this week but due to illness never got to it. We're getting ready to go away now and won't be back until Monday night. Can I freeze my strawberries and use them to make jam next week? What's the best way to freeze them?

Yes you can. They will go a bit mushy and you need to save the juice but it is fine.

I did that before very successfully, agree they go mushy, but that should be ok fire jam. I think I had to coat them in caster sugar first
