I've bought Quark a few times in the past and have ended up throwing it out as I'm never sure what to do with it! Am determined to use it this time! Any ideas? Would like to use it for dinner tonight if possible. I'm veggie and don't have a massive amount of ingredients here! Got leeks, onion, pepper, sweet potato, portabello mushrooms (which DP doesn't like!) as well as some Quorn and the usual store cupboard staples. Am thinking some kind of pasta dish. Any ideas?

Use it the same way you would Philly cream cheese, ie sautée veg and stir in quark before adding to pasta.

You can also use it like you would yogurt in a curry. It's brill because it doesn't separate so can be heated more.

Other ideas:
•New York cheesecake
•With fruit compote for breakfast/dessert
•stir in choc Nesquik for instant choc mousse

Think of it as a cross between yogurt, cream cheese and creme fraiche - it does all those functions and virtually no fat Grin
