Please someone tell me what temp and how long I should reheat a (veggie) shepherd's pie. I thought was being all domesticated and house wifey today and got the thing ready early in the day when I did the DSs dinner but when it came to doing it in the oven, it was too dry but not really hot in the middle.
Please help!

did you use a microwave,as they reheat, really well and dont dry out, whereas a normal oven doesnt really reheat it just carries on cooking so it all drys out.

Never done a shep pie myself but would imagine a tinfoil technique covering to keep moisture in then removing it for final crisping up might work?

chuck it in the microwave

I usually microwave. But the other idea would be to prepare it but not cook it until you are ready.

Microwave till mostly done then bung in the oven/under the grill if you're melting some cheese on top
