Bit of ketchup, bit of Mayo, dash of tabasco and a dash of worcester sauce - there you go love. XXX

Ooooh remember to sprinkle with paprika for that original 70's look!!

My fave - and in sarnies too - although went to DPs parents the other weekend and they offered me a prawn sandwich - now that conjours up ideas of fresh bouncy wholemeal bread, encasing scrumptious juicy prawns, a nice big handful of crunchy shredded iceberg and a big dollop of tangy seafood sauce - imagine my disappointment when it turned out to be a prawn sandwich - yes just bread and butter with prawns in - sacriligeous!!

IMO the essential ingredient (often left out) is horseradish sauce.

I use Mayo, ketchup, lemon juice, tabasco and horseradish plus salt and pepper. Chopped chives or spring onions make it look prettier.

Not that I ever make it (hardly)!

8 tablespoons mayo
3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 lemon cut into 6 wedges
splash (or 2) of brandy
salt and pepper

Whisk together mayo and tomato ketchup, add squeeze or 2 of lemon from one of the wedges, season with S&P, add brandy to personal taste.
