I use one from 100daysofrealfood.com. I chuck all the spices, honey and vinegar in a ziplock overnight with the pork then empty the whole lot in the slow cooker in the morning and leave it all day! It's called best pulled pork in a crock pot.

I just put the joint in the slow cooker with some seasoning. No liquid. Though the other recipe sounds nice!

Can you get liquid smoke where you are? A bit of it adds a more authentic smoky BBQ flavor to the pulled pork. But don't tell anyone I suggested it; I am from the Southern US where many people think that the only smoke flavor should come from the long slow barbecuing process over wood. But I do make pulled pork in the slow cooker and add a bit of liquid smoke for a more authentic flavor.

And don't forget the cole slaw!
