IMO, if it is 4 or 5 years it would still be OK, provided it was thoroughly re-heated, although it might taste a bit of Deep Freeze".

Yep, tasted fine! Chef friend said 3 months max for home frozen meat (which is why I thought i'd check with the experts here)...

Of course if I wake up in the middle of the night with food poisoning I will let you all know!
