Freezing a shop bought cooked ham joint?

Bought the above to make packed lunch sandwiches with.

It was delivered (as part of an online shop from Tesco) yesterday and I have just noticed the use by date is today. There are no directions on the packet as to whether it should be frozen or not.

Would it be safe to freeze this and maybe use in carbonara or a quiche in the future?

Yes, I think it would be fine to freeze it & use it later.

It's a bit naughty of Tesco to give you something with such a short use by date, though.

Thanks for the reply, I stuck it in the freezer last night n the off chance someone with better knowledge than me would reply and tell me it would be ok!

I have emailed Tesco and complained.
