Kitchen Aid dough hook stuck

Any ideas?
I can't get it out, tried pushing in & twiddling but no luck.

Try pushing it up and then letting it down a tiny bit and twisting in an anti- clockwise position. I once got some dough stuck in the bit where it fixes in to the top iykwim. DH solved this by holding a steaming kettle on it to loosen the dough a bit he wanted to take a screwdriver to it but I banned him from doing so

Glad to help! My dough was a few hours old when I started to clear up and remove the hook. I remember there was also a bit stuck to the drawer handle. ...I think superglue would have been easier to remove tbh!
