Can you freeze eggs? How?

Have some eggs leftover from baking DS's birthday cake. We don't really do eggs in this house but I will be baking another cake in a few weeks. Can I freeze the eggs? If so how do you do it?

I am sure I saw Nigella freeze egg whites in a freezer bag.

Eggs last ages, they are better older if you want to make egg mayo for instance, easier to get the shell off then.

I think you have to beat them up before freezing, but I may be wrong.

You can either separate them and freeze or break 6 or so into a margarine tub and freeze them.

I think you have to add either salt or sugar to them. Obv add salt if you'll later use them in savoury recipes or sugar for sweet, I'm not sure how much though...google might have it.
