Help - Pot Roast in slow cooker? ??

We got a small pot roast enough for 4 people. Every time we cook beef in our oven it's like an old boot so can I do this in the slow cooker? For how long and at what temp - low, medium or high?
do I put water in it?

Yes, pop it in the slow cooker on low for about 8 hours or say 5 on high. Slosh of water and or wine and maybe throw in a chopped onion, bay leaf and a few peppercorns.

It will be lovely and moist and fall-aparty! At the end remove some of the "juice" and add a bit of cornflour I'd needed to make a gravy.
