Pasta bake question.

I am making a cheesy pasta bake thingy tonight, do I need to cook the pasta before I put it into the dish to bake?

Plus add a little extra liquid to what you think you need (tomato sauce, cheese sauce etc) as it tends to dry out a little in the oven!

Yes you cook the pasta first. Don't overdo it though - cook for 10 mins rather than 12 so it's al dente - otherwise it's too soggy in the bake I find.

Don't overcook it though as it does soak up the liquid when baking and cooks further!
