Doesn't drink enough.......

Hi everyone,

Does anybody else have a problem getting there lo to drink?

My dd is 16mths and ever since I stopped b/f at 6mths she's been an absolute nightmare when it comes to drinking - she would never take a bottle and went from b/f to a sippy cup to make sure she had enough milk I used to make runny porridge for her, now her tastes are a bit more sophisticated I try to incorporate milk into her meals.

She will drink around 200ml milk in the am with her breakfast(sippy cup) she refuses to eat cereals. I give her another cup in the pm, but she won't always drink that, when it's very hot she may take a few sips of water but apart from that she just won't drink - won't drink juice, and does not like yoghurts. I give her quite a lot of pureed fruit and her nappies are always wet so I think that helps keep her hydrated and she loves cucumber.

Curious to see if anyone else has same problem or any good tips....

dd1 has always been like this ,as a baby we had a job to get her to have 2oz of milk a day at one point. She is no different now as she will not drink milk unless it is on her cereal but she also has to be literally railroaded into drinking anything at all .For example today she has had just 2 small glasses of juice all day.
You could try ice lollies ?

Peppermint tea with a spoonful of honey? I'd make half a cup and then after it's brewed a little, fill it up with mineral (or tap water) and mix.
