Looking to have burgers tomorrow night but run out of ideas to spice them up. In a bun with tomato seems really overdone in our household. Any suggestions please? Smile

Homemade coleslaw is popular round here.

Or we like lamb-burgers in pita bread with houmous (is that the right spelling) and tzatziki

Green beans and new potatos, but just about anything really. Never in a bun though.

Avocado. With mozzarella in the middle of the burger

Pickled courgette or gherkins, onion rings (blanched), melty cheese, a dash of tommie sauce or American mustard in a bun with chips and coleslaw on the side.

Damn I want burger n chips for tea now! And haven't got any in.

Have you tried the venison burgers from Tesco? They are lovely - known as Bambi burgers in our house. Wink

Ketchup and maybe fried onions, in a nice warm bun, with some chips on the side.

Instead of ketchup you could try burger relish or something.

we like refried beans and salsa (tex mex)

This is nice as a burger relish

or onions cooked with honey

: )
