There is a great many dishes for apples.
Depending on what sort of apples they are, i have a few ideas for you.
Marmalde/jam
poached apple with forest berries
Apple tart tartan
Apple and pear compote
waldorf salad
Stuffed apple
Apple strudel
Apple souffle
Apple sponge, pie, crumble
Apple fritters
Apple sauce- it will also freeze
Apple salad

Hope this helps

Something smple and lovely is apples fried in butter with potatoes and shallots/onions - you can add cheese too. As I know it it's a Rhineland dish whose name in translation is 'heaven and earth'.

You can load them on to visitors as they leave your house!
We have a plum tree in our garden, if it doesn't start producing decent plums, I am going to give the HA permission to remove it!

We are over run with apples and plums (and tomatos too, but thats another thread!)
I have made apple and plum jam, and apple and summer fruit (strawberries/raspberries/blackberries/red currants -didn't have enoughof just one fruit!) jam, I am hoping to make apple jelly .
Now I am running out of jars so planning on making things to freeze.
Apple strudel/pie
Apple crumble
apple sauce
If I can get some more jars I want to make apple and mint chutney , if anyones got a recipe? (its the one thing missing from my fab book!)
