Did anyone watch the programme on BBC1 this evening where they go behind the scenes in restaurant kitchens looking to see how clean they are? It gives me the feeling that I never want to eat out again.

Then there was the section on how clean the supermarket and their trollies were. I think I'll all have to wear gloves and a disposable suit next time I visit!

I saw the program but got cross with the ice cream feature when they tried to say the artificial mass production ice cream was healthier than the home made real ice cream due to fat content. They totally ignored the sugar content!

Surely the higher fat lower sugar real ice cream is the better option. Fat does not cause the insulin response that sugar does and we are always hearing how type 2 diabetes is on the rise.

I didn't believe that bit either. All those containers full of various powders, then what tickled me was when they said they added 'air' to it. Somehow I'll never look Mr Whippy in the face again.

It was just a continuation of the crap advice given by the 'change for life' school of idiocy promoting so called 'healthy eating' makes me wonder if the manufacturers of insulin are somehow behind this as all the promotion of sugar filled fake foods has to be benefiting someone?
