As it is just me & DH now I don't meal plan as rigorously as I used to and rely on making quite a few batches of things, like chilli, spag bog etc & using them as & when.

But, for all you tired & jaded cooks with younger DCs I can highly recommend my 11 day meal plan!! Just make one up & keep rolling it through. No one will ever realise as it's never Tuesday = cottage pie, Friday = Spag bog!!

It's a real lifesaver if you are fed up with cooking/meal planning/ very busy etc etc.

And your plan looks yummy, Grass. Can I come to tea on Thursday & Saturday, please? Grin

Monday- yellow Thai curry with a bean sprout salad ( packed lunch- dc would never have eaten itHmm)
Tuesday- lettuce wraps, with a black bean sauce, peanut, chicken, and veg mix
Wednesday- pearled spelt risotto with goats cheese and leeks
Thursday- vegetable soup ( dessert day so dinner is light- it was strawberry cheesecake ice cream, yum)
Friday- rabbit casserole with new potatoes and steamed broccoli
Saturday- bastichio ( spelling may be wrong, it's like a pasta shell lasagne with aubergines- it's from a cook book, I haven't made it before but hoping it'll be niceSmile)
Sunday- BBQ, halloumi kebabs, lamb kebabs, a rice salad, a courgette and fennel salad. Maybe more, I don't know yet.

I'll be doing next weeks plan tomorrow so will update. These threads always make me break my meal plans by giving me ideas for meals. But I do love a meal plan unitWink
