Gammon steaks.

Have Gammon steaks out of the freezer, for dinner yesterday but didn't fancy them in the end. So I need some thing ideas to make with them.

I would probably trim and dice the steaks and stir fry them with some green/red peppers cut into a large dice, cooked small new potatoes halved, chopped onion and a thin sliced red chilli with most of the seeds removed. Once that had all taken on a bit of colour and everything was tender I'd serve it with some salad leaves and pop a poached egg on top. Bit of dressing, plenty of black pepper.... call it something like 'Spicy Ham Jumble'.... bingo :)

Mind you I still wish I hadn't got them out the freezer now.

cut into strips, soak in teriyaki sauce, fry serve with noodles or rice?

have them chopped up in a tomato and garlic sauce topped with potato wedges and mozzarella :)
