What can I cook with them, other than soup?

They are not at their best either, I'm afraid, but don't want to throw them away.

Mushroom and parmesan risotto. Tesco recipe available online. Had it yesterday and it was very nice.

Peel, slice thickly, fry in oil/butter bit of garlic maybe, tarragon if you have some, serve on toast. Gorgeous.

Mushroom and taleggio puff pastry tart. V easy. Best with lots of butter and garlic and parsley.

Mushrooms reduce down so much when cooked - you may have less of a glut than you think...

Fry mushrooms with onion and garlic. Blend with creme fraiche and chicken stock. Season to taste and serve with chicken or steak?
