My MIL gave me this recipe and it's so bog easy I wanted to share it. No egg allergies in the family in fact, but it's tasty anyway.
Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Grease a small loaf tin or large cake tin. Take a normal mug, and measure 1.5 mugs of cold water, 1.5 mugs of dried fruit and 1.5 mugs of sugar into a large bowl. Add 100g butter. Microwave on full power for 3 minutes. Stir well. Add 3 mugs of self-raising flour and stir again. Pour into the cake tin and bake for 45 mins - 1 hour depending on oven.
