Has anyone got a good recipe? I'm a big fan of BBC good food but the one I've found uses x2 tins of condensed milk & I've only got one in the cupboard.

I use this one.

Millionaires' Shortbread

Ingredients
• 250g Plain Flour
• 75g Castor Sugar
• 175g butter - soften
• 150g dark brown soft sugar
• 150g Butter
• 397g can Condensed Milk either Asda own or Carnations
• 200g/300g Milk chocolate

You will also need...
20cm brownie tin, lined with baking parchment

• Mix Flour, 75g sugar and 175g butter together to make biscuit base. Press in a tin using fingers or spoon. Cook on Gas Mark 4 for 30min until golden brown.

• Leave to cool.

• Heat the sugar and remaining butter in a non-stick pan gently, stirring, until melted. Add the condensed milk and bring to a rapid boil, stirring continuously. Cook for a minute or so or until the filling has thickened. Pour the caramel over the base. Cool, then chill until set.

• Melt the chocolate in separate bowls. Pour the dark chocolate over the caramel Chill until set. Remove from the tin and cut into squares – dip your knife in hot water (then dry on kitchen towel) to make it easier to cut through the chocolate.

• Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks! Yeah Right.

Delicious. The DCs insisted on 'tasting' before it was totally set though.
