After trying ramen soup a few weeks ago I'm really keen to re create at home.

So, what's the difference between miso ramen and ramen soup

And given the hundreds online I would really lie it if someone could post a link to a tried and tested recepie that their children loved.

Mmm. That recipe sounds delicious. Why the baking soda for cooking the noodles?

I was wondering that too.

It's a bit like using it to cook pretzels - it's an alkali that adds a slightly different flavour and texture to the noodles, which is what makes them into 'ramen' noodles. It also deepens the colour. You don't have to use it if you don't want to, but it's certainly more traditional to do so Smile
