Cheese sauce leftovers...

Made cauliflowe cheese for 7mo DS yesterday but have some cheese sauce (milk, flour, butter, cheese) left in the fridge. Can I freeze it? Any other recipe suggestions?

Add milk and eggs and bake to make a savoury custard.

Add just eggs, lots of, and scramble very gently to make rich scrambled eggs.

Eat cold with a spoon, yum!

Use it with pasta my DC's love cheesy pasta.
Or bake a large potato, cut in have and scrap insides in to a bowl.
Add cheese sauce, shopped spring onion and ham (if you like). Put back in to potato skins, top with grated cheese and pop under the grill until golden.

Or you can just freeze it Grin

shopped ???
That would be chopped. Damn auto correct.

Is it really thick now? If so, add chopped bacon, form into small sausage like shapes, cocer on flour, egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry.

You can freeze leftover cheese sauce, but it will be very thick when you defrost, and will need a bit of milk adding. I do this a lot as it is a favourite in our house so I bulk cook it to save time after school.

Six you clearly like cheese sauce a lot more than I do, the thought of spooning it cold into my face is not at all appealing!

The rest of the ideas are great though, it is pretty thick but not sure if it's rollable.
